The Bell is It

We start right after Thansgiving and try to instill the spirit of the holidays in our family and in particular in our grandchildren.
We send them small simple treats every few days leading up to the special one on Christmas week. The gifts are simple things like a doll outfit, pencils, candy, and the like. I think I support the US Post office but I don't care.
The week before Christmas we sit down as a family and watch the Polar Express. At the end we have fresh baked cookies from Grandma and we talk about ways we could share the spirit of the holiday with others. I send out their last gift before the big day - a big silever or gold bell with a special note attached. Simply we say to hang this bell on their Christmas tree every year and remember how much they are loved and how they can share their love with the world.
